Syncing data from the mobile app is largely an automatic process, providing devices are connected to the internet - but there are some important things to note.

What syncing is and why it's important
The process of transferring your lead data from the mobile app to the Integrate Events dashboard (before being passed to your company's marketing systems) is called syncing. It is an important process because it ensures that your lead data is readily available for any follow up activities. Without syncing, your data will only exist on your mobile device.
Your device needs to be connected to the internet to sync data. |
Ideal conditions for syncing data
A stable private wifi connection (like in your home or office that requires a password) is optimal for syncing. You can use an open wifi hotspot, event wifi or a mobile connection (4G) too - but you may experience varying speeds depending on the network.
Working offline
If your device is unable to connect to the internet and is working in an offline state, you can continue to capture leads in the mobile app. Your data will be stored locally on your device.
The app will display a notification when it is working offline - as a red banner at the bottom of the screen and as a status update in the text above the list of leads.
The app will automatically sync when connected to the internet. For peace of mind, it is worth prompting the app to sync manually - see Manual syncing below.
Checking the sync status of leads
Notice the color of the dots in the top left corner of each lead. It will be one of two:
Color | Meaning |
Green dot | Lead has successfully synced. |
Clear outlined dot | Lead has not synced and is being stored locally on your device. |
You will also see a status update in the text above the list of leads. If there are any unsynced leads, it will be noted there.
Manual syncing
To prompt the app to manually sync lead data, swipe down on the screen where leads are listed.
Do not delete the app if you still have unsynced lead data on the device. You will lose any data that has not been synced if you delete the app. If you are experiencing issues, speak with your company's Event Manager or contact the Support Team. |
