Add question fields to your Event form and define how lead data is collected. There are a variety of question types available, including contact fields (eg. full name, email and phone number) and custom fields (eg. checkboxes, multiple choice and drop-down lists).

Adding questions to an Event form
When building Event forms, consider your field team who will be using the form to input lead data. |

1. In the Events dashboard, click Add a question to begin adding form questions.
2. Select the field type that you would like to add to the form.
Available question fields

Contact Fields |
Full name |
Input value is a full name. |
Input value is an email address. |

Phone number |
Input value is a phone number. |

Company |
Input value is a company name. |

Job Title |
Input value is a job title. |

Opt-in |
A checkbox that indicates if a person has agreed to receive additional information.

Business Card Scan |
Input value is a photo of a business card. Business card scanning uses a mobile device camera to photograph a printed business card. When the lead is submitted, the photo is sent for transcription.

Badge Scan |
Input values vary and will populate fields that correspond to an event's registration service. Badge scanning uses a mobile device camera to scan a machine-readable code from an event badge.

Badge Scan (NFC) |
Input values vary and will populate fields that correspond to an event's registration service. NFC badge scanning uses compatible mobile devices built-in technology to read a code from an event badge.

Input value is a date and/or time format. You can set a date and/or time range to limit the input value. | |
Rating/Stars |
Input value is a number.

Link Collection |
Input value is one or more value(s), or none, selected from a list of checkbox options. This is used to provide access to content files, such as PDFs or videos.

Autocomplete |
Input value consists of alphanumeric characters. The value will autocomplete when a value is input and matched a predetermined list.

Take a photo |
Input value is a photograph, taken by the mobile device camera.

Signature |
Input value is an image. A signature mark is added to the form by a finger or stylus via the mobile app. The value is exported as a URL of the image.

Header |
Adds a title or header to the form to split sections and/or provide additional information.

Additional options and settings
Click on the question field to customize it in the question modal. Some options will vary depending on the question type.

Automatically Capitalise
|
Determine if input values should be capitalized and how.

Spell Check |
Select the checkbox Auto correct when typing to spell check the value input to the selected field.

Logic / Conditional Questions |
Use logic to apply rules to your form based on the user's behaviour. It helps to shorten the form by hiding and showing relevant fields based on what is selected.

Only edit one form at a time in the Events dashboard to prevent confusion and any unwanted changes being saved. |
Reordering question fields
Each field that you add is placed directly below the previous field. You can reorder the positioning of your questions within the form to create a better flow for your users.
Click the question field and drag it to the intended position.
The branding banner is always placed at the top of the form and the submit button is always placed at the end of the form. |
Be sure to click Save & Finish to ensure your changes are saved to the Event form. |
