Relevant to: Event Lead Management
There are a number of actions that can be performed in the dashboard to help manage Events and corresponding data. These include duplicating Events, exporting data and archiving Events.
Available Event actions in the dashboard
In the Event Lead Management dashboard, select the checkbox next to an Event and click on the Actions drop-down menu.
This table provides an outline of each of the available actions.
Action | Description |
Event Tags |
Allows you to search for Events according to their tags. Read more in Using event tagging. |
Export Data |
Exports the data from an Event as a spreadsheet in either .xlsx or .csv format. Read more in Downloading and exporting your data. |
Duplicate | Makes a copy of an Event. This is useful if you have multiple Events that need to use a similar set-up; you can then make edits to quickly finalize the duplicate Event. |
Move to Collection |
Enables Events to be sorted into categories. Read more in Organizing Events into Collections & Managing Visibility of Events. |
Move to Archive * |
Hides past or future events from the main Events view in the dashboard. You can unarchive Events by navigating to the Archived tab and selecting Unarchive.
|
Move to Trash * |
Permanently deletes an Event.
|
* Confirming an action
When you archive or trash an event, you will be prompted to confirm the action.
Archiving an Event
1. Select the Event and click Move to Archive.
2. Type the phrase archive-selected into the popup box and click Continue button.
The Event will be moved into the Archived tab.
Ensure that all mobile devices have synced before archiving the events. Archiving an Event will remove it from all mobile apps and any leads that have been previously collected will no longer be available in the mobile app. |
Trashing an Event
1. Select the Event and click Move to Trash.
2. Confirm by clicking on the Trash this Event button.
Moving an Event to the trash is permanent. We recommend only trashing Events that you are certain will not be needed in the future. |
