As part of your follow-up activities, you might like to provide prospects with access to additional information and content assets. You can do this by adding a Link Collection field to an Event form in the Form Builder. The value(s) selected in the form can then be used to populate a follow-up email with URL link(s) to associated content asset(s).
The Link Collection field is used to add URL link(s) within the body copy of a follow-up email. It does not add the content asset(s) as an attachment to the follow-up email. |

Setting up a Link Collection
Add a link collection field to an Event form
1. Create a new Event or open an existing one and navigate to the Form Builder. Click Add a question.
2. Select Link Collection.
3. Configure your field in the field options modal.
This table shows the available settings in the link collection field options modal:
Setting | Description |
The Question | Add the question text that will be displayed in the Event form (eg. Which assets would you like to receive?). |
Label | Add the link text that will be displayed in the Event form, typically the name of the content asset. |
URL | Add the URL location of the content asset (eg. PDF, video, web page) - this can then be added into the follow-up email. |
Menu icon | Click and drag the icon to rearrange the display order of the links. |
Delete icon | Click x to delete the asset link. |
Add the link collection field to a follow-up email
Set up a follow-up email and in the body copy, select the link collection question from the Personalisation... drop-down menu. Click Insert.
The field is added to the follow-up email body copy. Recipients will then receive the asset links according to those selected in the Event form.
