Templates enable you to create new Events quickly. Duplicate an Event template to clone the form and all associated question fields that you use as standard, plus integrations and follow-up emails - and apply them to a new Event.
You can't collect data in an Event template, so they will not be visible in the mobile app. Your team can duplicate from a template as many times as they like, creating new Events that can be further edited as needed.

Setting up Event Templates
Templates can be created as a new Event or converted from an existing one. To define the Event as a template, select the checkbox Use this as a template for other events underneath the Event Name.
|Follow-up emails and integrations can be set up as part of the Event template.
When the template is replicated, these will be copied to new Events.
Templates can be identified in the list of Events by their label.
Converting an Event into a Template
If you have an existing Event that does not contain any data and you would like to convert it into a template, open the Event and click Edit your event. Follow the steps outlined above.
If you have already collected data in an Event and would like it to form a new template, duplicate the Event and save the copy as a template by following the steps outlined above.
Creating New Events from Templates
1. Select the Template from the list of Events and click Actions. From the drop-down menu, select Duplicate.
2. Proceed to edit the new Event as required.
Updating an Existing Event Template
To edit an existing Event template, open it in the dashboard and edit as required.
Only dashboard users with Account Owner permissions can edit Event templates.
