Define the rules and conditions for lead collection, including lead price, lead total per Source and de-duplication rules on the Default Terms tab (in your Campaign) or Terms tab (in your Source).
Terms set on a Campaign level serve as a template, which are applied as the default settings to any new Sources created. Terms can then be updated on individual Sources to define specific lead activity and acceptance criteria.
The options here may differ according to which Campaign/Source type and channel you are using. For more detailed information, reference the specific channel section. |

De-duplication
De-duplication rules are set to define the behavior of duplicate leads - whether they're allowed in to your systems or rejected. On the Campaign and Source level * you can define how a duplicate lead is identified (ie. matched according to email, phone or both) and what action should follow.
For Content Syndication - de-duplication rules should mirror those determined in your agreement with your Media Partner.
* For Social Integrations and Webinar Integrations, de-duplication rules are set on the Sources. |
Setting rules for duplicate leads
Leads can be identified as a duplicate based on:
Options | Description |
Leads cannot have the same email address. | |
Phone | Leads cannot have the same phone number. |
Email & Phone |
Leads cannot have the same email address AND phone number. Leads could have the same email, providing the phone number is different - and vice versa. |
When a duplicate is identified by the system, determine what happens to it:
Options | Description |
Reject if Already Exists in Source |
Checks for matching leads in a Source - and rejects any duplicates. No duplicates allowed in a single Source. |
Reject if Already Exists in Account * |
Checks for matching leads across all Sources and Campaigns in your Demand Acceleration Platform account - and rejects any duplicates. No duplicates allowed in your Demand Acceleration Platform account. |
Reject if Already Exists in Media Partner |
Checks for matching leads from a Media Partner across all Sources and Campaigns in your Demand Acceleration Platform account - and rejects any duplicates. No duplicates allowed in your Demand Acceleration Platform account from a Media Partner. |
Reject if Already Exists in Campaign * |
Checks for matching leads across all Sources within a Campaign - and rejects any duplicates. No duplicates allowed in a Campaign. |
Reject if Already Exists for Tag * |
Checks for matching leads in all Campaigns and Sources with a specific tag - and rejects any duplicates. No duplicates allowed in a Campaign or Source with a specific tag.
|
De-Deduplication Lookback Days |
Sets a time period (number of days) for the system to 'look back' and check for duplicate leads. This included all leads in any status. |
Returned emails will not be included in the de-duplication lookback window. |
For Content Syndication - if you have multiple Media Partners matched to Sources within your de-duplication grouping (Campaign, Tag group, or Account), confirm your agreement with each Media Partner allows for this level of de-duplication. (eg. If Media Partner A submits a lead first, Media Partner B could have their upload of that same lead rejected as a duplicate). |
Confirming the setup of this tab is part of your Campaign/Source build process. |
