To ensure leads are flowing successfully, monitor the lead flow from your Source(s) to your integrated Marketing Automation or CRM system. You can do this by generating reports and analyzing the lead post out status.
It's advisable to work with your system admin to check that lead numbers in the Demand Acceleration Platform are aligned with those in your integrated system.
This article provides an overview of how to monitor the status of your post outs.

Using the options below, determine the cadence and monitoring method that works best for your team depending on your volume and requirements.
There are several ways you can check the status of post outs:
- Compare the number of accepted leads in the Demand Acceleration Platform and the integrated system.
- Check the response content in a Post Out Log Report.
- Check the disposition codes in a Lead Report (if using an API integration to Marketo or Salesforce).
- Confirm that leads are displayed as Delivery Successful (if using an API integration to Marketo or Salesforce).

Compare the number of accepted leads in both systems
Check that the total number of accepted leads in the Demand Acceleration Platform matches those in your integrated system. You may need to work with the system admin if you don't have access to your Marketing Automation or CRM system.
Download a Post Out Report
Check that the Response columns in a Post Out Report indicate the success values that you expect for your system.
- Success codes indicate that data has been successfully sent from the Demand Acceleration Platform, but it does not confirm it has been processed by the receiving system.
Download a Lead Report (Marketo & Salesforce API integrations only)
Check the Disposition Code column in a Lead Report to identify any errors. See Demand Acceleration Platform Dispositions for more information.
- This method is only suitable for API integrations with Marketo and Salesforce. This is because the chart is determined by the response code that is received directly from Marketo/Salesforce through a REST API integration.
- Success codes indicate that data has been successfully sent from the Demand Acceleration Platform, but it does not confirm it has been processed by the receiving system.
Confirm leads are displayed as Delivery Successful (Marketo & Salesforce API integrations only)
The Lead Status chart should display leads as Delivery Successful in the Demand Acceleration Platform (Source Integrations tab) - and not as Delivery Failed or Never Delivered.
- This method is only suitable for API integrations with Marketo and Salesforce. This is because the chart is determined by the response code that is received directly from Marketo/Salesforce through a REST API integration.
- This option is only available for data that has been collected in the last 90 days.
For all methods, check the instructions and recommendations for your specific system as they can vary.
If you conclude that leads have been posted out as expected, no further action is required. |
