After building the Media Partner Source in the Demand Acceleration Platform, it is then sent to the associated Media Partner.
The Source isn't live yet - first the Media Partner needs to accept the Source as a way of agreeing to conditions of business with you. You will then liaise with the Media Partner to finalize the launch.
This article outlines the steps that need to happen in order to begin collecting Content Syndication leads.
You need to have 1) built a CPL Campaign and 2) built a Media Partner Source in the Demand Acceleration Platform - before launching your Media Partner Source. |

Getting ready to launch the Media Partner Source
1. Inform your Media Partner that you have sent a new Source to them.
After building the Media Partner Source in the Demand Acceleration Platform, let the Media Partner know that there is a new Source ready for them to review and accept. It is recommended to always include the Source ID * in your correspondence with the Media Partner.
See our Media Partner Management article for tips on communicating with Media Partners.
* Finding your Source ID In the Demand Acceleration Platform, open a Source. The Source ID can be found on the underneath the title. |
2. The Media Partner reads and agrees to the contract terms stated in the Source Agreement.
If you have uploaded a Source Agreement to the Source, the Media Partner must confirm that they agree to the contract - before they can accept the Source. This is done by the Media Partner in the Demand Acceleration Platform and will remain noted in the Source Summary tab timestamped with the user details.
If you have not enabled a Source Agreement, skip to step #3.
3. Media Partner accepts the Source.
The Media Partner needs to accept the Source as a way of confirming they will be doing business with you. This is done by the Media Partner in the Demand Acceleration Platform.
4. Review Seller Proofs and liaise with the Media Partner to approve asset promotion.
If you're using Proofs to review and approve asset promotion with your Media Partner, they will need to upload content for your feedback and approval. Both you and the Media Partner will communicate in the Demand Acceleration Platform as needed to complete the process.
It is recommended to switch on applicable notifications, see Notifications in Proofs Tab.
If you are not using Proofs, skip to step #5.
5. Source is launched and begins collecting Content Syndication leads.
Once the Source has been accepted by the Media Partner (and at least one proof has been approved, if using this feature), the Source will be set live and can begin collecting leads.
The timing of your initial leads and frequency of upload is dependent on the associated Media Partner - speak to them directly if this differs from your expectations. See our Media Partner Management article for tips on communicating with Media Partners.
Your Media Partner Source is now live. The next step is to monitor incoming lead data. |
